Enjoy the tranquillity of the surrounding countryside, with its lakes, moors, osprey, white-tailed eagles, orchids and deer. The national park is situated in the heart of the Mecklenburg Lake District, which has a 600-kilometre network of hiking trails and cycle paths. Guests can take park in guided walks and observations during the deer rutting season and the crane migration season in September and October, and during the white-tailed eagle breeding season.
